Outreach to Missionaries Requesting Help with the Deaf
and their Families in Rural Isolated Areas
Vision: To go as an itinerant missionary to assist missionaries in rural isolated areas who have requested help with the deaf they are working with and their families
Mission for 2012: To encourage five missionaries in rural isolated areas of Honduras requesting help with deaf children, youth or adults and their families through visits, sharing information/training in basic communication and resources to use as they share the Good News of Jesus Christ with these Deaf Hondurans, their families and as they assist them in learning life skills.
Mission for 2013: To serve as part of an established in-country deaf ministry so I may network with other nationals and missionaries serving in the field of deafness; it is my prayer that God will raise up Deaf Honduran Christian Leaders to go out to reach larger groups of deaf in rural areas; also, to continue visits to the five areas visited in 2012 as needed.

God's wisdom in preparations & basic training given to each of the missionaries, deaf persons, and family members in the five rural areas;

God's love, patience & understanding to be given to each missionary, deaf person and family member as they learn to communicate with each other;

Open hearts & minds to receive the Good News of Jesus;

Travel safety to and from rural villages;

God to touch the hearts of individuals & families to join in prayer & financial support.
