The Apostle Paul says that all who have accepted Christ as their Savior are new creations and members of His Body. It's interesting that today, some will admit to being members of the Church in a universal sense, but claim they see no particular need to unite with a local congregation as a "member". We find that thought entirely foreign to the New Testament! Early Christians were all associated with local congregations of believers.

The Churches in the cities to which Paul wrote were made up of the Christians who lived there. The New Testament clearly shows that from the very beginning, Christians have been related to worshiping congregations in specific locations. So, how about you? Mosaic's Membership Week is designed to help clear the fog around the idea of "joining a church." MSM'S SUMMER
KICK-OFF BBQ!

MSM will be taking students out to the Irby Home (21002 Burlingame Road) on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, for a fun evening of food, volleyball, ping pong, and much more! RSVP with Chuck Eastman so that we can make sure we have enough food for everyone. If your student needs a ride he/she can meet us at the church between 5:15-5:30 (the van will roll out of the parking lot at 5:30).

“His Man on His Mission” is a Friday night/Saturday morning Men’s Conference coming to Little Rock on August 10 & 11. The father/man in your life will be encouraged and equipped by going?  Cost is $45 and seating is limited. Tickets are on sale at the Special Events table this Sunday!

During the month of June, The Orchard’s normal food provider (USDA) will not have food available to distribute to those in need in our community. That’s where you come in! Each Sunday in June, we are asking you to bring food to supply the Orchard. Get more details and a shopping list here.

Did you ever stop to think that while there are many differences between a child and an adult physically, psychologically, socially and, in some ways, spiritually, their condition before God is the same. It's because of this that Mosaic takes our children's ministry seriously, not merely as entertainment, but seizing the opportunity to instill God's Word in tender hearts while they are young. The MoKIDS team of staff and volunteers believes our children deserve the very best and we're looking for faithful, capable men and women that can be equipped to demonstrate God's love to our children through MoKids.
