Let’s Bless Ian and Jenn!

Ian and Jenn are going to be in the Little Rock area through May 29, 2012 and have several things that they will need during their stay and preparing for their return to Swaziland. Jenn is here for knee replacement surgery which has been successfully performed! They welcome invitations to personally share with you what God is doing in Swaziland and times of fellowship with you and your family (or small group). They are staying in a missionary cottage in Conway, AR during their time here.

september 20th

it has been a while since we said hi! we have had some internet problems nothing new here in Swaziland

CHIPS continues to grow we have over 800 clients and the Lord has blessed us in so many ways ,we now have the funding to rebuild Shandu,s house before the rains come next month ,his house is stick and mud and is falling down ,it will be replaced with cement blocks we are so thankful for wonderful ministry partners who have a heart for the least of these may the Lord continue to bless and keep you

july 7th 2011

we are blessed with visitors from the USA who brought the children candy and gifts ,the children from Mamabweni posed for lots of smiling pictures even though the younger ones were not to sure about  the strange faces,the children sang for the visitors and lots fun was had by all ,the visitors shared Jesus,s love for these precious little ones

june 21st

Simphewe 10yrs old issuffering hearing loss ?due to the ARVs she is taking for her HIV ,also she had a stroke August 2010 which has left her with right sided weakness and she has fallen far behind in school work that the school has told her to stay away,so please pray for this precious little one ,who is frail ,that the Lord will open a door for her to attend a special school and receive the hearing evaluation she needs

june 29th


Mary decided that when we were doing a clothes give away at Mambaweni she would model some of the outfits ,its good at times just to have fun and to know we serve a GOD who has a sense of humor and he has given us the gift of joy and laughter

mukhulu (grand father)Stephens enjoys sharing time with one of our smallest Chips patients he is 3 months old ,Langu,we were in Maphiveni distributing clothes and blankets to the needest of our chips patients  but we wanted share this special moment with you ,God is sovereign over our lives


may 30th

this is auntie rose she is auntie to all the children at section 19 and to the adults, also she cooks donated food for 50 to 60 children daily ,she loves Jesu and  is a real joy and blessing to spend time with !always her loving arms are rocking a baby

may 23rd we just want to share a picture with you this mom and baby are new to the Chips program and are both doing well on  medication, and we ask you to pray for all our clients, that they will face the future with hope ,for there is hope through positive living with HIV


 may 12th

sorry for the delay ,we have been so excited about the purchase of building that has been on the market for 15yrs despite numerous offers in the past from various groups business ngo,s etc we were told so many times the owners would not accept our offer it was impossible but the owners did accept the offer and we serve a God that nothing is impossible ,with this building we will be able to serve thousands of people in need in the future ,we are so blessed to be a small part of Gods vision for swaziland

we are taking a short break from the 16th to the 20th may prayer ,reflection ,spending time with the Lord in a very beautiful part of south africa


Please pray for:

all the Chips staff as we continue to wait on the Lord for direction as regards land/building for the health center despite we have been rejected for a building ,which we put a satisfactory offer and the meeting with the chief has not  been forthcoming to build a center ,we know this is the Lords will and we must not discouraged or impatient

Eric and Mxolisi 16 years old single orphans as they seek sponsors to pay school fees , for them to return to school on the 3rd of May

Pastor Dana Sinmuye Christian Church is going to be doing home visits with us on the 20th of April to see how they can come along side Chips to assit  us with food clothing etc

continue to pray for a meeting with the chief of Maphiveni ,as reards requiring land in that settlement to build a health center for people in the surrounding area who are infected with HIV/TB ,it is now 7 months since we started negotiations and we still firmly believe this is the Lords will

Newman  our gardener has a serious  problem with alcohol ,he does not want to attend church but needs a special healing touch from Jesus and that we may know how to minister to him 

Ian and Jenny Stephens have been called to minister to the least of these.  Located in a remote part of Swaziland in the southern part of Africa, they have been ministering to orphans who's parents have died of HIV.  Swaziland has the highest incidence of HIV in all of Africa.

Praise the Lord for:

Mr. Dlamini, principal at Vuvulane Primary school - receptive& helpful in ensuring Popodvo was admitted to first grade. Popodvo is having a wonderful time in school :)

Wonderful ministry partners, your faithfulness in prayer & donations continue to sustain us. We are grateful for each of you. 

Currently all CHIPS children are stable! (not hospitalized)

Successful trip for CHIPS directors to USA – people responded with intrest

Abundant maize harvest - distributed to the needy community families. 2nd crop should harvest in six weeks

Please pray to the Lord for:

• Smooth transition from TEAM (April 1st) , that we have good clear communication with Team home office, our ministry partners and World Outreach Ministries(service organization)
• Lord’s timing for meeting w/ Maphiveni Chief. Praying for early March. Then we can move forward with the building of the clinic/project center. There have been many delays. • CHIPS staff have been asked to do extra HIV counseling/ testing on Wednesday afternoons during March.•  Pray for an open door to share the gospel as we teach.•  Missionaries around the world as they take the gospel to the 4 corners of the world
•  March meetings: planning for the clinic, Rotary club, & members of parliament. Pray for Lord’s will.
•  Bonginkosi (our night guard & “son”) was not rehired as night security here in the village. He is planning on moving to South Africa to find work in a coal mine. His wife (Celibe) is pregnant (due July). The recession is biting very hard here in Swaziland
